Things to do besides eating:
Here is a list of things to distract you from eating
- Exercise -Dance! it burns 250 cals an hour
- Sleep. Lack of sleep can make you think you’re hungry and if you don’t get enough nutrients sleep can make up for some of it.
- Clean. It is a great distraction, it burns calories. Dust, scrub, vacuum. Clean something gross like the toilet or cat box and you won’t want to eat
- Play with your make up and hair, try out new looks and styles so you know it looks good when you go out.
- Drink water. The icier and colder the better as it burns calories. Drink a glass an hour to keep hunger at bay. Adding lemon makes your tummy stop growling.
- Hot water makes you feel full
- Work on your website, tumblr, blog, scrapbook or journal.
- Work on a thinspo scrapbook. Look through magazines and print out pictures, recipes, quotes, stories and whatever else inspires you
- Find a workout buddy, if you can’t find one in real life find someone online or on tumblr so you can support and encourage each other
- Paint your nails and toes, you won’t want to mess them up by eating.
- Brush your teeth, chew gum, eat mints; they will make food taste bad and keep something in your mouth.
- Get into a book .
- Start watching a good movie.
- Study!
- Try learning a new language
- Take up knitting or make bracelets.
- Call your friends it will keep your mouth busy.
- Take a shower. the colder the better as it burns more calories
- Go for a walk outside, even if it’s not for exercise it’ll put distance between you and the kitchen
- Drink tea without sugar, green tea burns fat and the hotness makes you feel full
- Pamper yourself with a facial, foot soak, manicure- it will use your time and make you look and feel beautiful
